Funeral services for Alex Hannar, 73, who died Monday night at the home of his sisters, Isabel and Affie Hannar in Covington, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. JS White officiating. Burial will be in Gopher Hill Cemetery near State Line.

He was born in Vermilion County, Illinois  April 9, 1870, son of William P. and Isabel Kent Hannar.  In addition to the two sisters, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Dickman, Penrose, Colo and Mrs. Affie Milner of Phillips, Texas. Four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.   --- transcribed by kbz
